New Orleans’ new classic
Sierra Green and the Soul Machine is one of the hardest working band in New Orleans. Having cut their teeth on Frenchmen Street - the famous enclave of live music venues that extends from the historic French Quarter- the band oozes with talent from every instrument.
Playing up to seven nights a week to international crowds who frequently come back for more music the next night, Sierra Green effortlessly belts blues, soul, funk and R&B tunes all night long as one of the few black woman bandleaders left in the Crescent City. Born and raised in New Orleans, her charisma, infectious on-stage presence, and tireless work ethic put her in a category of her own.
Sierra Green and The Soul Machine is a must-see in any city, but especially on their home turf.
Rarely a cover charge at the door, the band depends on tips to make a living. If you happened to be at a shows and would like to tip, you can do so here.
